2 Storey Extension This project entailed building a large extension onto an existing cottage to provide a large 7m x 5m lounge and large ensuite bedroom upstairs with walk-in wardrobe. Again considerable amounts of earth had to be dug out before work could commence, but again once the ground works are done the build itself is fairly straight forward. The technicalities of doing this type of project is one, having the ability to work with the home owner so that the minimum amount of disturbance is created as they have to continue to live in the property throughout, and two, ensuring that the end result retains the cottage style feeling, such as an open fire and exposed beams
